Valentines Day

Last Saturday we had a chance to support an event called twosistersoneheart, it was wonderful. There were lots of things to do from running ,eating, playing games , vendors and much more. It was so touching to see these sweet little girls about Sophies age, conjoined at the heart. And only imagine what it would be like. The girls and I participated in the runs, the girls and I did the one mile fun run while dad and Sage cheered us on and took pictures. I was so proud of Sadie and Savana. Sadie said mom I did it in 12 min 52 seconds as her face was beat red and her little baby hairs dripping with sweat. Savana sat on the curb exhuasted drinking her ice cold powerade her daddy got for her, she said mom I just need a minute. And Sophie got another free ride in the stroller but enjoyed the wind blowing against her soft pale skin,she didnt make a peep the whole 13 min. I had a chance to run the 10 k (which was alot of fun after recently running the half marathon )I was excited to finish in 53 min. Yeah for me that was great!! Because remember I am a runner in heart but relistcally a slooooooooow jogger. Any whoo, the rest of the day was so much fun with the kids and my sweet husband who had a cold but came and didnot complain whole time we were there. The kids had alot of fun with all the extra activity's. And we ate yummy barbeque food which was my highlight because I love good food. Jarod and I were talking one day and I told him I just love food and he said you really love it ? I told him yes I LOVE GOOD FOOD. I know its a slight problem thats one of the many reasons why I run .( I will explain the other reasons at a later time ) . Its time for my comfy bed. Check out the twosistersoneheart I know they could still use all the support they can get. They are going to have surgery to get seperated shortly and could use all prayers. What a sweet day we had being a part and seeing there family there and holding strong.
