Thanksgiving Weekend Fun

This weekend was a blast being with all the Robinson Family Clan. All seven of the kids were there with there families and off coarse my wonderful mother. I didn't what Thanksgiving to end we were having to much fun, we have such a great family . I would like to highlight some events or memories of this past weekend.

HIGHLIGHTS:
1. Thanksgiving food - It is a tradition on holidays to have homemede ice cream. Well lets just say two of us forgot are ice cream makers. So that left us in the search of finding one to buy in less than a day. The search was on but we weren't successful .Option two My sister got on the phone and started calling people , yes she found one !! We were so excited the tradition was staying alive .Thanksgiving day my sister went to borrow the ice cream maker and came home with a giggle, oh no . Not a good sign, in her hand was a very small box with the ice cream maker inside enough to serve a couple people. So we laughed and then my sweet sister got busy making many batches of homemade ice cream and freezing each batch in little containers so we could all have homemade ice cream What a treat it was ............

2. Kids Games - My sister Jeri and Doug were in charge of games this year for the kids they came completely prepared with prizes in all . The kids had a fun coloring contest . I ask my sister how are you going to pick the best one she said I am not I got them each a prize so they could all be the winners . I thought that was quit thoughtful.


3. Markers - Lets say be careful when you fall asleep you never no what might happen . We were able to color on my brother Aaron and my bothernlaw Kieth a little bit before they awoke . Hey I didn't know Kieth had his ears pierced.


4.Swimming - The kids don't care how cold the water was they just swam alittle faster . By Friday it was warmer from the heater so all kids even big boys had lots of fun swimming.

5. Turkey Trot- Most of my siblings were going to do a turkey trot little did I know they were all teasing. Oh ya after I was done running my 10 k my brother Tyson said why didn't you wake me up. Uh HUH, No I don't blame them they were all on vacation. Those "turkeys" theres always next year.

6.Shopping day- Well a group of us went out at 4 am . Are first stop was walmart ,the store was packed but we all got what we came for and then alittle more. WHile we were still there a group headed for HomeDepo. We took two cars and both were getting full but we were still going. Off to Starbucks to get hot cocoa and a bagel.Then some went to Micheal's and then off to the mall we all parked in no wheres land. We walked in Jcpenny and there was a great deal luggage for 39.99 originally 150.. so of coarse a most of us came home with new luggage although not on the list but look how much we saved. We spent much time in Pac Sun ,they were having awesome sell back packs and purses were 8 bucks. Well needless to say are car was full to the rim.

7.Adult Night - My sweet mom volunteered to watch all 13 grand kids so we could all go out . We had so much fun . We went to see four Xmas(movie) and then shopped some more and the went to dinner at a place called Margartitaville it was next to the new Cardinals Stadium . Then we were off to find a yogurt shop. On are way home my younger siblings showed me what Ghost Riding The Whip was . For those of you who don't Know, your driving everybody gets out of the car even the driver, the music up loud, and then you dance along the side of the car while it is still going. What a fun , crazy night.......

8.Game Night- The adults stayed up and Played Gesture's . Guys against girls and sad to say the girls won. We had many laughs especially when my brother Ryan used his body as a prop and showed alittle more skin, well we will leave it at that.Also we had some wrestling matches. Good times.........


9.Family Pictures- A friend of my sisters last minute took are pictures she did great job for being a amature photographer. WE did it late afternoon Saturday the kids did great,saying cheese the whole time. Sophie was not in the mood , we had to bribe her with tic tacs just to stay in the picture.

10. Dancing - We went to a Mexican food restaurant were they gave us the outside patio. Ali taught us how to do some dances,we had fun dancing especially the kids even Sophie and Curn held each other and danced it was adorable . I did not have my camera surprise ,surprise. But I Know someone took a picture.
What a great time I was very sad that it had to end but hopefully we can all get together soon. I feel so lucky to have such a amazing family..........................................................

This is my brothernlaw Kieth, he is so funny we all got a laugh out of him and his new back pack. He found this great backpack to take fishing at the good will for I think 6 bucks. The only problem was the zipper was broken . He spent many hours determined to fix this backpack . Everey other minut there he was with his back pack. He is a good sport because we all gave him a hard time about it.
